sustainability

Being as eco-conscious and sustainable as possible is something that is incredibly important to us, as merchandise retailers and as artists. We take our impact on the planet very seriously, from the electricity used in our office to the cotton used in our t-shirts. Here is a detailed summary of what we do when it comes to sustainability:

Ethical manufacturers and suppliers

For our soft merch (t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, hats etc), we have a strong relationship with a local Glasgow print studio who work under the Brand Ethical Trading Policy. That means that the brands they use for garments (such as Stella + Stanley for our T-shirts and Westord Mill for our tote bags) adhere to a strict policy and do not condone the use of any forced or coerced labour. They also implement a strict assessment process with suppliers to ensure that factories meet, or exceed, applicable local standards in terms of wages, health and safety, welfare and human rights. They are also a part of the Fair Wear Foundation, Fair Trade Foundation and are Living Wage Employers.

We also take into account our printing usage, ensuring that we don’t over-order and cause unnecessary waste.

Plastic-free packaging for postal orders

Our fulfilment centre uses plastic-free packaging for all of our postal orders, and we always endeavour to use recyclable merchandise packaging for our pins, badges, plectrums etc.
